Windows 7 sweeps in sales 2009-11-13
It was something that was expected, especially seeing the volume of reserves in some countries like Britain, where it passed to Harry Potter himself, Windows 7 has sold 234% more than Windows Vista at launch. In economic terms, the figures represent increased sales revenue by 82% compared to Windows Vista.
Certainly, Microsoft has developed a strong marketing campaign, offered discounts etc. .. but perhaps the cause of this increase is none other than dissatisfaction with the previous system, a cause more than justified and necessary to perform the upgrade.
Still, the disgraced Vista still served the purposes of Redmond and ultimately has forced many users to precipitate its upgrade to the latest version of Windows, without waiting a few months of shooting. Sometimes the saying is better known evil than an unknown good it makes little sense, especially in the digital world.
